Au pairs are caring, live-in childcare providers who live as an extended member of their
host family and provide childcare for up to 10 hours per day and 45 hours per week.
Au pairs are between the ages of 18 and 26, and come from more than 40 countries.
In exchange for providing childcare, au pairs receive room, board, and a small stipend

Qualifications of the applicant for “Au Pair in USA” program Application processes

1. Complete information via www.ieostudyabroad.com
   

2. Contact officer to book the seat for Language Proficiency Test and psychology test
   at No. 02-6503532-3
   Place of testing:             IEO Study Abroad, Vanissa Building, 11th floor
   Date:                            Every Sunday of the second week.
   Time:                            13.30 – 17.00 hours

   English testing fee 300 baht and psychological test 200 baht.  Result of test shall be
   announced within 2 weeks via e-mail.  Free Test within this 30 June!

3. Receive full set of Application Form from CHI Aupair after 1st installment fee
   payment 5,000 baht.

4. Documents required to send with Application Form to CHI Aupair are Childcare
   Reference, Driving Reference, Medical Report, Personal Reference, Cover Letter
   /Resume, Cultural Sharing Essay, etc.

5. Deliver all documents (full set to IEO) and pay 2nd installment fee 4,500 baht (this
   amount includes health insurance, fee for providing and selecting host family,
   DS-2019 management fee, fee for international delivery of all relevant documents
   between Thailand and USA) in order to send all documents to CHI Aupair for
   matching with Host Family.

6. In case of the applicant is interested by any host, the applicant must be interviewed
   by such Host Family via phone at least twice times before agreeing to employ the Aupair.

7. In case of it is agreeable, the Aupair shall pay  4,500 baht fee for J-1 Visa and we
   shall prepare and advice about documents, visa application processes (the institute
   is responsible for SEVIS FEE).

8. Pay “program guarantee” 500 USD of which the participant shall be fully refunded
   upon participating in the program and fully comply with all rules and regulation
   until completion of the program for 1 year.

9. Prepare to departure according to the prescribed schedules from BKK-Washington D.C
   . to attend workshop orientation 4 days 3 nights free of additional charge. (Aupair should
   prepare Pocket Money at least 200 USD for dinner  during personal time of each person).

10. Travel to Host Family’s home with close care of  APC (Au Pair Coordinator) and introduce
    Au Pair to firstly meet Host Family with close care throughout the program.

*          1 Colored photo of 2” (direct fact, clear view of both ears).
*          Photocopy of passport.
*          Photocopy of ID Card.
*          Photocopy of transcript from Upper Secondary Education upwards in English.
*          Copy of Driving License (can be submitted after joining in the program).

• Total operation fee 9,500 baht which must be paid in 2 installments as follows:-
  
  
• 1st installment:   5,000 baht must be paid upon receiving Application Form.
  
  
• 2nd installment:   4,500 baht must be paid in order to send Application Form to international organization to further send to Host Family.
  -           This amount includes administrative fee, Application Form, coordination with head office in USA, training, health insurance, provision and selection of host family, DS-2019 management fee used to support visa application and delivery all related documents between Thailand and USA and the applicant is not required to pay any additional expenses until being accepted from host family, then the applicant is required to make further payment….(in the following item).
  
• 500 USD for program guarantee
  -           This amount is to guarantee that the participant shall complete 1-year program and shall study not lower than 80 hours.  The participant shall be fully refunded upon the participant shall have fully complied with rules and conditions until completion of 1-year program. Should the participant is unable to complete the project or participate short of 1 year, the head office in USA reserves its right not refund this amount to the participant.
  
  
• Very special!         Should the Aupair complete 1-year program and wishes to continue joining in the program for maximum 2 years (subject to consent of the host family), the Aupair shall receive very special bonus upon completion total program, i.e., 18 months – 700 USD; 21 month – 775 USD and 24 months – 850 USD (includes program guarantee) and for the person duly qualified to take care the infant shall receive Extra Bonus 500 USD immediately at the expiry of the program.
